Inspired by Victorian brass nutcrackers, our ensemble cast of seven ‘Animal Cracker’ characters is rich in storybook charm & layered with discoverable details. Each is lovingly crafted to bring the respective characters of Fortnum’s famous nut selections to life.

Adding more whimsicality to our illustrations, each character is accompanied by their own original, limerick-style verse; part of a cohesive story uniting them in their quest to find the finest nut selections. These verses draw influence from the work of Edward Lear; celebrated Victorian artist, illustrator, author and nonsense poet.
